Corrine S. (Patterson) McWilliams

Corrine S. McWilliams, 66, of Beech Creek, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at Mt. Nittany Medical Center. She was born in Philipsburg on November 20, 1955, a daughter of the late Carl and Shirley Wiser Patterson. She was married to Glenn L. " Chip " McWilliams. He preceded her in death on June 8, 2019.

Corrine worked for her parents at Shirley's Diner and Truck Stop in Port Matilda and would go on along with her sister to become co-owner. Following the closing of the diner she would go on to Beautician School and opened Fantastix Hair and Tanning Salon in Howard. In earlier years, particularly when her husband was Chief of the Howard Fire Company she volunteered in several capacities. She was a member of the Howard United Methodist Church.

Corrine is survived by her daughter, Tamitha " Tammy " McWilliams of Beech Creek, a son, Glenn " Stump " McWilliams of Bellefonte, a sister, Constance Packer Boland of Avis, aa niece, Vanessa Packer-Myers, and an aunt, Judy Wiser of Virginia.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Romola Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, P.O. Box 108 Howard, Pa. 16841  to assist the family with expenses.
