Dorothy Louise Winslow, 97, of Lock Haven, formerly of Howard, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Susque-view Nursing Home in Lock Haven. She was born on August 27, 1923 in Orviston, Pa. the daughter of the late Oscar Packer & Tammy Gardner.
She was a homemaker. She married Calvin S. Winslow on June 14, 1946 he preceded her in death on September 9, 2014.
Dorothy was a member of the Beech Creek Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by one son, Barry "Pat" (Deborah) Winslow of Howard, sister-in-law Doris Wallace "Spooky" of Butte, Montana, two grandchildren, Matthew ( Marsha ) & Mark Winslow, six great-grandchildren, Connor & Ian Winslow, Kaitlyn (Justin) Rowand ,Tianna, Abigail, and Gracelyn Winslow, and two great-great-granddaughters , Alayna & Sienna, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Rubin & Leroy "Freddie" Packer.
Funeral service will be held at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street, Howard at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 with the Rev. Alan S. Eckenroad officiating. Friends and family will be received from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will be at the Schencks Cemetery at the families convenience.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Beech Creek Wesleyan Church.
