Earl C. Tressler, 91, of Beech Creek, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at U.P.M.C. Lock Haven. He was born in Tylersville on November 30, 1929 a son of the late Oscar F. and Fairy Greninger Tressler.
Earl was employed at Champion Parts where he retired in 1994 after 34 years of service. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Bald Eagle Beagle Club. He enjoyed hunting, especially with his beloved Beagles, and fishing. He was a life member of the Beech Creek American Legion.
He is survived by his companion and love of his life of 38 years, Dorothy Rickert at their home in Beech Creek, two sons, Ronald ( Ginger ) Tressler of Lamar, and Barry ( Tammy ) Tressler of Draketown, four grandchildren, Ronald Jr., Colby, Lindsay, and Leslie, and five great- grandchildren. He was preceded by several brothers and sisters.
Private burial services with military rites will be at Hays-Fearon- Bossert Cemetery, Beech Creek. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hays-Fearon-Bossert Cemetery Assoc., P.O. Box 502 Beech Creek, Pa. 16822.
