Obituary
Gary Lee Clymer 76, of Howard, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center, Altoona. He was born in Lock Haven on May 16, 1946, a son of the late Millard and Geraldine Bryon Clymer.
Gary graduated from Lock Haven High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict aboard the USS Constellation. He was employed at Hammermill Paper for many years and along with his wife, the former Gloria Candelaria, was the owner of Bobby's Place Tavern in Beech Creek. He enjoyed fishing and shooting.
Along with his wife he is survived by a son, Jason (Denise) Clymer of Blanchard, five grandchildren, Gabriel, Gage, Melissa, Jason Jr., and Jacob, and a step-granddaughter, Lacey. He was preceded by a son, Michael Clymer. Per his wishes there will be no services. He will be laid to rest at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
