John W Rupert

John Wayne Rupert, 66, of Mill Hall passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023.

Born on May 27, 1956, in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late John A and Beverly (Etters) Rupert. 

John was a 1975 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School where he played football. His love for the game would continue as a fan of Penn State Football, cheering them on every season. He also enjoyed tending to his cows, which he referred to as his “girls.” But what brought him the most joy in life was spending time with his family and making lasting memories with his grandchildren. 

John worked as a mason for Sayers construction for several years before he began a career at Corning. He then worked for First Quality Tissue in Lock Haven.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Spangler) Rupert; a son Justin Rupert; a daughter, Kayla Rupert and Fiancé Shane; a brother Harry Rupert (Denise); a sister, Darlene Kellerman (Randy) and two grandchildren Tacie and Zaiden.

Family and friends will be received for a time of visitation from 1-2 pm on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Kader-Neff Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 135 W Main St, Howard, PA. Inurnment will take place at Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Blanchard.
