Obituary

Laird N. Litz, Jr., 68, of Mill Hall, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 20, 2020. He was born on Feb. 8, 1952 in Lock Haven, the son of the late Laird Sr. and Benita Rippey Litz.

Junior was a graduate of Bald Eagle Area High. During his working years he was employed by Zimm's Restaraunt as a fast line cook, Ronald Johnson Construction, and Sunset West as a cook. He retired from Penn State after many years of service. He was a member of Buckhorn Hunting Camp. Jr. enjoyed hunting and fishing, camping, NASCAR, and was a Penn State football fan. He was a passionate fan of professional wrestling.

He leaves behind his wife, the former Patricia I. Williams at their home. They were married on Jan. 3, 2011. Also surviving is his son, Randy ( Jennifer Irwin ) Litz of Renovo, sister, Bernita ( John ) Haugh of Beech Creek, step-daughter, Christina Gunsallus of Mill Hall, grandchildren, Trevor, Christopher, Tyler, Skylyte, Leah, Kelly, Kendra, Amber, and Nathan, step-grandaughter, Rayney Irwin, nephew, Tracy Kitchen and several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. He was preceded by his ex-wife, Kathy Litz, and two sons, Timothy and Randall Litz, and a sister, Harriet Litz.

There will be no services at this time due to the pandemic but a future memorial service will be planned. Burial will be at Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ Cemetery. in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kader-Neff Funeral Home, P.O. Box 108, Howard, PA. 16841 to assist family with expenses.
