Lois M. Bryan, 78, of Howard, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at her home. She was born in Coburn, on September 1, 1943, a daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah Hosterman Kerstetter. On October 21, 1965, in Orviston, she was united in marriage to Daniel W. Bryan who survives at their home.
Lois retired from the Bellefonte School District after many years as a cafeteria employee. She was associated with the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Howard and enjoyed crossword puzzles and word scramblers. In her younger years she enjoyed camping, cooking, and baking. Her greatest joy came from time with her grandchildren and family, and lunch with her girlfriends.
Along with her husband she is survived by a daughter, Sandy (Tom) Confer of Bellefonte, a son, Daniel (Angela) Bryan Jr. of Pleasant Gap, a sister, Doris Rachau of Centre Hall, and four grandchildren, Sarah, Elizabeth, and Hannah Bryan, and Shane (Vanessa)Billett, and one great-granddaughter, Savanna Billett. She was preceded by a son, Brian Foltz.
Services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main St., Howard with Pastor N. Titus Stracener officiating. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Howard.
