Philip M. Emberton, 37, of Julian, passed away suddenly at his home on Dec. 24, 2021. Philip was born March 24, 1984, in State College, a son of Connie M. (Shawver) Emberton of Howard, and Philip E. (Laura) Emberton of Port Matilda.
Philip graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Technology Penn State, with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Aviation Technology. He obtained his plane mechanic license in Dec. of 2005. He also attended the South Hills Business School. He graduated from State College High in 2002.
He was employed by the Pennsylvania State University, Applied Research Lab since Jan. 2019. Before P.S.U./ A.R.L., he worked at Weldon's Equipment in Julian. He had also worked at Wegman's Food in State College.
Philip loved the outdoors, hunting, camping, fishing, boating, beach vacations, fixing his vehicles, riding motorcycles and dirt bikes. He loved his family, friends, and spending time with them.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Marci Heverly, stepbrothers Daniel & Dalton Emberton of Port Matilda and Aunt Deborah McCloskey (Jerry) of Howard. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Dean S. & Rebecca Shawver and William and Cora Emberton, as well as his recently deceased Uncle Dean S. Shawver Jr.
Friends will be received from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, Dec.30th at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street, Howard, with a service celebrating his life at a later date.
