Roy A. Yearick, 70 of Mifflinburg, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 at his home. He was born August 15, 1940 in Centre Co., the son of the late Harry Yearick and E. Almeda Orr Yearick.
Roy was a driver for Eastern Industries stone quarry, retiring after 33 years service.
He loved tractor pulls, going to Atlantic City, and going to public sales and attending flea markets..
He married Yolanda Aikey who lives at home.
He is also survived by three sons; Franklin of Forest Hill, Terry of Mifflinburg, and Larry of Forest Hill. Two daughters; Wanda Hoover of Milesburg and Jody and husband Steve of Mifflinburg and also two brothers; Harold of Hublersburg and George of Runville. He was preceded in death by a brother, John. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street, Howard, with the Pastor Dan Longmore officiating. There will be a public visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Zion Cemetery.
