Obituary

Sharon Lea Leitch, age 71, of Wilmington, NC passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Wilmington, NC.

She was born on November 4, 1950 in Lock Haven, PA to the late Charles Glock and Jane Hockman Glock.

Sharon was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ in Zion, PA. She was an avid reader who enjoyed star gazing and Astronomy. Sharon was a member of Altrusa International of South Central PA, an organization of professionals dedicated to improving the communities in which they live, in Harrisburg, PA. She was also a member of The Order of The Eastern Star PA, a social order comprised of persons with spiritual values, in Bellefonte, PA. Sharon sang with the State College Choral Society, the largest choral group to perform classical repertoire in central PA. She loved music, especially listening to the Beatles. Most of all, Sharon loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Klein; sister, Donna Rae Good; grandchildren, Gabriel Klein and Sidney Klein; and many other extended family and friends.

Friends and family will be received from 2-4:00 pm on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 West Main Street, Howard, with a memorial service following with Rev. Alan S. Eckenroad officiating.
