Clovis E. Rockey

Clovis E. Rockey, 84, of Bellefonte, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Susque-View Nursing Home, Lock Haven. He was born in Bellefonte on December 24, 1937, a son of the late Elmer Garner and Eva Mae McClellan Rockey.

Clovis was employed at Penn State as a carpenter where he would retire in 1993 after 30 years of service. He was married to Ann Sandra Rockey. She preceded him in death on March 27, 2002.

He served his country in the Army National Guard. Clovis was a member of the Howard Christian Church, the Undine Fire Company, and served as a Deacon and Board member of the Sylvan Hills Christian Camp. He enjoyed hunting and camping.

He is survived by a son, Brian Rockey of Bellefonte, and a daughter, Diana Rockey of Austin, Texas, and 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was the last of his generation. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 7:00 P.M. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 West Main Street, Howard, with Pastor Don Crane officiating. Friends will be received from 5:00 P.M. until the services.
