Obituary

Elizabeth May Young, 79 of Orviston, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Beech Creek.

She was born in Lock Haven on November 15, 1930, the daughter of the late James and Mina Martin Falls.

She was married to Roy M. Young Sr. He preceded her in death in 1998.

She had worked for Sylvania, Lock Haven Laundry and New Haven Industries. For many years, she helped with the voting site in Oriviston. She enjoyed camping and mostly spending time with her family.

She is survived by three daughters; Sheila R. Haines and husband Barry of Beech Creek, Carla M. Hanley of Orviston and Lora J. Hanley of Monument, two sons; Jack E. Hill and wife Paulette of Beech Creek and Randy M. Hill of Mill Hall, four sisters; Ruth Glossner of Beech Creek, Edith Longo of Howard, Alice Ferguson of Mill Hall and Blanche Dodse of Texas, two brothers; James Falls of Clearfield and Russell Falls of Avis, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two step grandchildren. She was also survived by her faithful dog, Shasta.

She was preceded in death by a a brother; Harvey Falls, two grandchildren; Carey Jo Hanley and Jeremy W. Hill.

Funeral services will be Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Maiin St., Howard, Pa. with the Rev. Donald Fornwalt officiating. Burial will be at the Hays-Fearon Cemetery, Beech Creek. Visitation will be Sunday from noon until time of service at 1:30 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Clinton County SPCA, Rd 2 Lock Haven, Pa. 17745.
