Obituary

Keturah May Yeager, 97 formerly of Beech Creek, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at the Susque-View Nursing Home in Lock Haven, Pa. She was formerly of Merryevale Apartments in Beech Creek, and Brooksville, Fla.

She was married to Harry E. Yeager for 46 years. He preceded her in death in 1977. She was born on March 29, 1912 in Coleville, Pa. the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Long.

She worked for many years for Woolrich Woolen Mills. She was a full-time member of the Wesleyan Church in Summit Hill, Howard.

She is survived by a sister, Ethel Moltz of Orange City, Fla. a son, Rev. Arthur E. Yeager and his wife Ruth from Mahoning Valley; four grandchildren; Dale E. of Phoenixville, Wendi S. Kern and husband Glenn, Wesley J. Yeager and wife Lisa of Elkridge, Md., and Joyce Yeager of Ebensburg; and four great-grandchildren; Maris and Tyler Yeager, Andren Kern and Tobias J. Yeager. Along with her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by three siblings.

The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main St., Howard. with the Rev. Kenneth D. Stephens officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be private at the convenience of the family.
