Samuel LeRoy Entz, 75 of Bellefonte, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. He was born on September 18, 1945 in Lock Haven, the son of the late William Chester & Helen May Wilt Entz.
He married Karen Martin on September 25, 1965, she survives at home.
He was a supervisor at the PSU physical plant retiring after 26 years of service. He also proudly served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard after 13 years of service as a TSGT.
Samuel was a life member of the Beech Creek American Legion. He enjoyed working on cars especially the classic cars.
He is survived by two sons; Kevin (Angela) Entz of Trenton, Fl., and Chad (Michelle) Entz of Centre Hall, two sisters; Libby DuFour and Joanne (Clair) Lockard, six grandchildren, two great grandsons; many nieces and nephews, and his faithful K-9 companion and best friend Tanner. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Mahlon and Abe Entz, a sister Sharon and a half sister Ida Mae Schaffer.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street, Howard. Friends and family will be received from 12-2:00 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday. Burial will be at the Jacksonville Cemetery.
